Cellulite

Sarah, a 30 year old computer analyst was worried about her ongoing cellulite problem on her arms, thighs and legs.

In technical term, cellulite is the dimpling of the skin caused by the protrusion of subcutaneous fat into the dermis creating undulating tissue. It’s often described as “orange peel” skin.

The first approach for lasting results is to improve the liver function, the digestion and the circulation.

We started with  digestive supplements  for her liver and gall bladder. The herbs will stimulate her pancreatic enzyme production and secretion.  They will speed up the clearance of toxins stored in fat cells. We added a herbal formula with Gingko Biloba and Salvia Miltorrhiza to restore a healthy circulation. To improve  the  tissue hydration, we used a sugar free  electrolyte formula to add to her drinking bottle. The end result will help smoothing the tissue appearance.

An external treatment with massage and essential oils is complementing the internal support.

A good aromatherapy massage and brushing of the skin with a loofah will encourage the circulation to the affected areas and help the elimination of waste products.

Here is the anti-cellulite recipe:

  • Add the flowing essential oils into 150 ml of carrier oil such as almond oil
  • Fennel, 20 drops
  • Juniper,15 drops
  • Grapefruit, 15 drops
  • Rosemary, 20 drops
  • Geranium, 5 drops

We suggested to massage over the affected areas twice a day, morning after shower and evening before bed.

After 3 months of intense treatment, Sarah was very happy with the results and was happy to show off the smooth skin of her legs and her arms in  her summer dresses and swimsuit.
