The tea however is coming back into fashion as a general body tonic.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSheep Sorrel Tea Preparation \u003c\/strong\u003eThe tea may be consumed warm or cold and may be sweetened with honey or juice if desired.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCombine 45gm of the Sheep Sorrel tea blend tea blend and 2 litres of water in a large saucepan and gently boil for 10-12 minutes.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemove from heat and stir thoroughly, cover with lid and allow to stand for a minimum of 4 hours up to 12 hours. The longer it steeps the higher the potency.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eReheat the mixture (but do not boil). Add 200ml of distilled water to replace water lost through evaporation.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemove from heat and allow to cool while covered.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStrain the tea through a fine strainer into clean containers.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStore the Sheep Sorrel tea in the refrigerator. The batch should last for 3-4 weeks.
