What are Practitioner-Only Products?

Practitioner-only products, or POPs, are products prescribed by qualified health
practitioners alone. According to the Therapeutic Goods Act of 1989, they are the only authorised persons to prescribe these kinds of products that are considered as medicines. Technically, POPs are products listed or registered on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.

Where can I purchase these products?

You can purchase your prescribed practitioner-only products from us at Essential Health Foods.We have wide range of products and the expertise to make the formulations needed to address your condition. At Essential Health Foods, you can be assessed by our in-house naturopaths, herbalists, and nutritionists.

What do I need to be able to buy them?

To purchase Practitioner Only Products from us, you would need a prescription from your health professional. In the absence of one, you would have to go through a consultation with us to determine your health requirements, then you will be able to purchase the product.

I need to re-order practitioner-only products. What should I do?

We are keeping all records confidentially and we would check your past history
and you could re-order accordingly. If you bought your POP products from another health provider, you can send us the script to info@essentialhealthfoods.com.au
